1st job:
Iron Body: 11
HP Boost: Max
Power Strike: Max
Slash Blast: Max

2nd job:
Power Guard: Max
Weapon Mastery: Max
Weapon Booster: Max
Final Attack: Max
Enhanced Basics: Max
Threaten: Max
Ground Smash: 11

3rd job:
Shield Mastery: 18 (makes you take very little dmg if you wear a shield)
Charged Blow: Max (max in order to use ACB at 4th job)
Fire Charge: 18
Ice Charge: 18
Lightning Charge: 18
Combat Order: 20 <<< most useful skill!
HP Recovery: 8 (makes you use 0 hp pots while training)
Magic Crash: 18 (works on bosses to not let them cast wep or magic cancel)

**3 extra points will be available** i used them on iron body because i like defense and i dont use ground smash anymore

4th Job:
Rush: 1
Advance Charge Blow: 1
Blast: 1

That is how i started. My current order of skills go something like this:
1 divine shield> 1 stance> 1HH (for looks Very Happy)> max ACB> lvl 8 divine shield> max Blast> lvl 5 stance> lvl 5 Holy Charge> max HH> 1 Hero's Will> max Guardian> max Holy Charge> max Stance> max either MW, divine shield, or achiles. (this should take you to 18X-19X)

**this all depends about books and stuff**

***my build also allows flexibility, i dont max divine shield all the way becasue i rather use those points else where, and it allowed me to use more books.***

****I put points into stance and charge, but didn't max them because I wanted to use the books and guardian and HH are more useful then those 2.****

Note: If you are a 2 handed user take out guardian and move the other skills up.

Also, wondering if there's a list of what skills Combat Orders affect, when I was playing around with my skills I saw that it affected Ground Smash and was wondering how many skills it affects, cuz one could possibly max all 1st through 3rd job skills if CO worked on most skills.

CO adds +2 on last advancement job skills, so a skill can surpass its max level..

Basically for adventurers, heroes (aran and evan), resistance (BaM, WH, and mech); the last advancement will be 4th advancement (4th job). For KoC, last advancement will be 3rd advancement (3rd job). All 4th job skills can have +2 of its maximum level.

Example:
*Bowmaster (4th job):
-4th job skill: Hurricane max level is 30 without CO. With CO, hurricane max level will be 30+2 = level 32
-4th job skill: Marksmanship max level is 10 without CO. With CO, marksmanship max level will be 10+2 = level 12. Let's say you only have level 4 marksmanship. With CO, your marksmanship will be level 4+2 = level 6
-3rd job skill: Strafe is left out at 21. Without CO, strafe is lvl 21. With CO, strafe will be 21+2 = level 23
-3rd job skill: Arrow Rain max level is level 30. With CO, arrow rain will still be level 30 because 3rd job skill is NOT your last advancement skill.
-4th job skill: Hamstring. Let's say you have 0 point in hamstring. With CO, your hamstring will still be level 0 since you never put sp on hamstring.

*Thunder Breaker (3rd job):
-3rd job skill: shark wave max level is level 30. Let's say you already max shark wave, so it's level 30 without CO. With CO, shark wave will be 30+2 = level 32 since 3rd job is the last advancement for KoC.

I don't know if it's confusing but basically, CO works like this:
-if you have level 0 on a certain skill, the skill won't magically appear for you. It's still level 0 even with CO.
-CO only surpass maximum level on last advancement skills.
-For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd job skills, skills that aren't maxed will be +2. Skills that already maxed out will not changing.

@Lee: You forgot Power Guard.

@Mel:

CO temporarily adds 2 SP to all non-beginner skills (minus CO of the WK/Paladin and of any other WK/Paladin in the party) that have at least 1 point already in the skill. Only 4th job skills (3rd job for Cygnus) can break the maximum SP allowed per skill using CO.

Yes you can max all 1st-3rd job skills if you allocate them to max-2 and rely on CO. Doing this for 1st and 2nd job attacking skills is pointless if you're making a new Paladin though, since you won't be using them anymore by the time you put points into CO. CO is also unuseable in BalrogPQ (rendering most of your skills -2 from max), though nobody does that so it wouldn't matter all too much unless more fights like that are implemented.

and my build is kinda failing cuz my pally fails at books....
