I played dota a long time ago but switched to HoN when that came out. to many people in dota leave when ever they die it got annoying. spend a couple hours to find one decent game

it changed now. lots of bans and stuff, so people dont like to leave anymore.

What's the difference between Dota 1 and Dota 2? ;o
It's a separate game or something? You have to make new acct and new char? or Can you use character you have in Dota 1 for Dota 2?

I don't quite get with online games that have sequels.. I know Maplestory doesn't have it.. Mabi and Vin might get it, but so far no news about it yet..

dota is not an mmorpg it is a strategic game. it is fundamentally different from vin ms and mabi.

dota 2 is basically an upgrade of the format and other subtleties of dota. Everything is going to be the same, but on a new system, so it flows smoother, it also allows for better graphics.

It also ensures the continuation and constant updates that might have died out in dota on warcraft 3
