Bishop Build

Disclaimer: This is not the only way to go,
obviously other methods. This is what I did after having read numerous
guides and using common sense.

AP:
Str: 4
Dex: 4
Int: x (Main stat, most points here)
Luk: x (Secondary stat, left at 4 or capped around 50 or as high as 80)

1st Job:
Improving MP Rec: 16
Improved Max MP Increase: 10 (Max ASAP)
Magic Guard: 20
Energy Bolt: 1 (to be able to put into magic claw)
Magic Claw: 20

2nd Job:
MP Eater: 20
Heal: 30 (Max ASAP)
Invincible: 20
Bless: 20
Teleport: 20
Holy Arrow: 11

3rd Job:
Dispel: 20
Holy Symbol: 30 (Max ASAP)
Elemental Resistance: 30
Mystic Door: 30
Shining Ray: 30
Dragon: 15 (You can put more into it, but only 15 is needed for Bahamut)
Doom: x (Mostly useless, I have 16 points in it because I never used dragon)

4th Job:
Genesis: 30 (At least 1 point at 120. Gen30 is hard to get, it's best to leave gen at 10 or 15 where MP usage isn't as high)
Maple Warrior: 19 (9=10, 19=20 MW20 is expensive/hard to get, so most leave it at 9)
Big Bang: x (Another attack, non-elemental which can prove helpful)
Angel Ray: x (Single attack holy, used mostly for bossing)
Resurrection: 10 (Should, if possible, get 1 point in it at level 120 if you boss a lot)
Infinity: x (Can be useful, but can also kill if you don't pay attention to your HP)
Holy Shield: x (Used mostly if you Zak/HT/PB a lot, if not it's not worth it)
Bahamut: x (15 in Dragon to get Bahamut. Really up to you)
Mana Reflection: x (Seem incredibly useless)
Hero's Will: x (Mostly only warriors/shads get it for HT/PB)

Lalala, I think it's pretty good for a basic build... I'd do the same build again. =]

You can swap Big Bang or Infinity with Genesis; I just find them (esp. Infinity) more useful than Genesis.

Hero's Will is more useful than gene f3..

You can max Hero's Will and make Genesis 14, but since most monsters that can Seduce do Seduce more often than every 5 minutes, 1 Hero's Will and 5 Hero's Will is the same to me. Not that a Bishop is expected to have any Hero's Will at all anyway.

Doom is left at 1 because it's lolable and High Wisdom is a 2nd job skill.
Other than that it's correct.

I messed up on the copy-paste - I had them in two columns in my PDF. Fixed.

Magic Booster 11 is the same speed boost as 20 and some Bishops like playing with snails.

One is enough if you like to play with snails, I'd rather not sacrifice extra time on a skill that actually matters just to get a skill to play it. It just seems like common sense to me.

Probabilistically, level 1 Doom requires 5 times the number of magic rocks to work as well as level 10 Doom. It's a preference really. When I casts buffs I always do them in pairs or trios so I'd cast Booster with Holy Symbol anyway.

Ahh, true... but then again, during boss fights I don't always cast HS anyways. Not until the HP is way down. Idk, personal preference I guess.

HS cost 300 mp asdfghjkl..
and MP eater sucks.. I eat mp pots like crazy..
