Choosing a Class Empty
PostSubject: Choosing a Class   Choosing a Class EmptyMon Oct 31, 2011 3:54 pm

This Q&A will give you suggestion on which class that might fit for you.. There are 10 classes (5 races) in this game.. Much lower than Maple, but still quite alot in my opinion.. The guide isn't for you to have to play this class, the choice is entirely up to you.. Whether to follow this guide or not, it is simply your preference..

Answer few questions below truthfully to get the best result :)

1. If you see mobs in front of you, what would you do?
A) Just kill them with your weapon. --> go to question #2
B) Think before you act. --> go to question #6

2. You decide to kill the mobs with your weapon. But before you do so, you need to pick up some armors from your bag. You have light armors and heavy armors available. Which one would you choose to wear?
A) Light armor. I rely on my speed and dodging, heavy armor would make me run slower. --> go to question #3
B) Heavy armor. I would like to have the best protection armors as possible so mobs can barely scratch me. --> go to question #4

3. You choose to wear light armors. Now, you prepare for your fight. Would you rather smack mobs in their faces or would you rather play safe and hit the mobs when they don't see you?
A) Smack mobs in the faces. I am fearless. I know my dodging and speed is better than those mobs. --> go to answer page AA
B) I rather play safe and hit mobs from afar. Not that I don't trust my dodging and speed, but I rather be safe than sorry. --> go to answer page BB

4. You choose to wear heavy armors. Your friend comes along to support you in the battle against the mobs. Your friend asks whether you want to be the tanker and he be a damage dealer or he be a tanker and you do all the damage?
A) I am the tanker. With heavy armor on, I fear nothing of mobs. I keep my friend safe so he can deal best damage possible. --> go to answer page CC
B) I am the damage dealer. I know that I am strong enough myself to take down these mobs. It's good that my friend helps, but I know my own capabilities. --> go to question #5

5. You know that you are capable of taking mobs on your own. Now the question is, how would you like to kill them?
A) I am a spirited fighter. I eliminate them all as quickly as possible, as soon as I see them. --> go to answer page DD
B) I am a mob killer. They can laugh at me and surround me, but I eliminate them all with my powerful area attack. --> go to asnwer page EE

6. With my intelligence, I think before I act. Weapon isn't everything for me. There are other means to kill mobs. But your hand isn't strong enough to punch mobs down nor you have powerful weapon to kill the mobs. Instead before you take the mobs down, you need to take a class so you can learn how to overcome mobs. You are given the choice to take either two classes: lecture or cooking. Which one would you choose?
A) Lecture. I memorize my spellbook very well. I absorb every spells that my teacher told me. -->go to question #7
B) Cooking. Lecture is boring. I rather cook some foods or waittt.. I can make potions to poison mobs or to keep myself alive. --> go to question #8

7. I memorize every spells in the book. Now, time to put them to a good use. With your spells, you manage to craft two magical weapons. One weapon is big and require more spells to initiate magic. The other weapon is small and require less spells to inititate magic. Which weapon would you choose?
A) Big weapon. More spells means more magic damage. --> go to answer page FF
B) Small weapon. Less spell means it doesn't take me forever to launch a magic damage. --> go to answer page GG

8. I love cooking. I would make more potions so that I can have enough supplies in battle. Suddenly, your friend and his pet come wounded and asks you to take care of him and his pet. He says to you that you should heal his pet first because he doesn't want his pet to die. He loves his pet so much. Should you follow what he says or would you rather heal him first?
A) I heal him first. He is my friend and he is the one controlling his pet. No matter what he says, I would heal him first. Not that I like the pet, but pet's life is not comparable to human's life. --> go to answer HH
B) I follow what he says. I trust him well. I'm sure even if I heal his pet first, my friend's life would still be saved cause I have enough potions for everyone. --> go to questions #9

9. So, you manage to heal the pet. He says that there are still mobs out there wandering around. He lends you the pet and told you to work together with the pet, so that both you and pet can kill mobs together. Now the question is, how are you utilize your pet to help you in battle?
A) Me and the pet are one. Pet will come in front line, while I support the pet with every potions that I have to heal and buff. There's no way I'm letting the pet dies. --> go to answer II
B) Pet is just a mere support in battle. I trust that the pet will do very well since the pet helps my friend. However, I know I am stronger than the pet and I can utilize pet's power to combine with my own power. --> go to answer JJ

---- QUESTIONS END HERE ------
Before proceeding below, please answer all the questions above. After taking all the questions and read the answer match, post reply to this thread. Tell me which class you are according to this Q&A :)

Choosing a Class Empty
PostSubject: Re: Choosing a Class   Choosing a Class EmptyMon Oct 31, 2011 5:05 pm

ANSWERS RIGHT HERE

AA) Tideborn Assassin
Assassin is melee fighter with a quick speed, stealth, and high evasion. Using a dual dagger, assassin kill mobs fast, shed blood in their throats. Using a light armor, their defense is not very good although the evasion and stealth makes up for it. Sins arguably has the highest dps in the game (with a good end game equips of course). Also, they have a very good chance of winning in PvP.

BB) Winged Elf Archer
Archer is a range fighter that deals devastating damage. Light armor and high dexterity makes them very quick and have high dodging, makes up for their lack of defense. Archer is weak against melee mobs, but they have knockback skill that can keep mobs away from them. Imbuing arrows with various elemental attack, they can suit themselves against any type of mobs.

CC) Untamed Barbarian
Barbarian is a fearless melee fighter that have tons of defenses and HP. They are the tanker in every squad, they take all the mobs with them. They've done very good job at keeping away mobs from harming Damage Dealer. Their damage is not comparable to the other melees, but they are very useful in squads.

DD) Human Blademaster
Blademaster is a fearless melee fighter that can survive on their own. They have an excellent solo capability, stun rhape mobs till the mobs die. In a squad, Blademaster takes a role of melee Damage Dealer, or sometimes can be a tanker as well. They also done very good job in PvP with their abilities.

EE) Earthguard Seeker
Seeker is a fearless melee fighter who can utilize range damage to lure mobs and kill them. They specialize in dealing high damage AoE attack with the cost of their MP. Similar to Blademaster, Seeker can survive on their own, have a good solo capability. In a squad, they are the melee Damage Dealer, or sometimes can be a tanker as well. PvP is still questionable since Seeker is relatively a new class.

FF) Human Wizard
Wizard is a spellcaster that utilizes high magic damage with the cost of the spell speed. They specialize at taking out mobs, therefore, they train fast. They do not have an instant heal skill. All they have is recovering DoT hp/mp skill.. Wizard can dash forward to avoid mobs if the mobs are too close, making them move faster and prevent dying.

GG) Tideborn Psychic
Psychic is a spellcaster that utilizes spell speed in addition to deal high damage. Their damage isn't as high as wizard, although Psychic has faster channeling speed (arguably, the fastest channeler among all mages). Like Wizard, they do not have an instant heal skill. All they have is recovering DoT hp skill that works for squad members as well. Instead of dashing forward, Psychic puts immunity on themselves to nullify all physical damage to take down mobs for a certain period of time.

HH) Winged Elf Cleric
Cleric is a spellcaster that utilizes heal magic. They are the heart of the party, keeping everyone alive with the cost of them not doing decent damage to mobs. With Plume Shell, Cleric absorbs all damage to their MP, making them quite a good tanker in tough situation. Cleric also have tons of buffs for squad members. Cleric laughs at mobs by putting mobs to sleep and poison them to death.

II) Untamed Venomancer
Venomancer is a spellcaster that utilizes their pets to help them in the battle. Because of this, Venomancer is capable of soloing instances without taking any damage at all or way less compared to other classes. Pets tank for the damage, while Venomancer doing damage and heal the pet. Their HP/MP swap saves them alot of potions (arguably the best money-making class in the game). The downside is that Venomancer self-heal has long cooldown and they can do just as much as with their pet (short learning curve).

JJ) Earthguard Mystic
Mystic is a spellcaster that takes a little bit of skills from every other mages without fully capable of doing the best that each mage can do. However, the uniqueness of Mystic is that they can act as Damage Dealer, healer, or even pet puller making them flexible in every squad. Mystic have their own personal summon and capable of soloing instances with the cost of their ridiculous MP. They can also revive themselves on the spot, without the need of buying res scroll. In PvP, Mystic is still questionable since this class is relatively new class.
