A seeker is a melee damage dealer (DD), they aren't as strong as Blademasters, but make up for it in buffs and debuffs.


Attributes:

Str - This is your main stat, should be the highest.

Dex - This is your secondary stat, needed to equip weapons and armor.

Vit - This increases your HP and HP recovery rate, some people put into it to survive easier. Since Seeker has many skills that make it harder to hit and give defense, they usually keep their Vit low (20-30) or don't put into it.

Mag - This is useless for a Seeker.


Builds:

Pure Str: This is the best build if you have funds to get Vit equips, it maximizes your damage. Later on you may not even need to put into Dex and it should be capped at like 100~120 depending on end game equips.

7 Str 3 Dex every two levels.

Hybrid: This build is the easiest for casual players who don't mind sacrificing damage for survival.

6 Str 3 Dex 1 Vit every two levels.


Skills:

Buff Tree:

Northern Sky Waltz - Self-buff, good combo with Staggering Strike, max it.

Bladed Fervor - Increases Crit, Attack and Defense, doesn't help much at first, but later on you'll want it maxed.

Parchedblade Dance - Max this, works wonderfully with Stalagstrike.

Saber Rattle - Party buff, increases attack. One point is the same as max.

Soulsever Minuet - Max this, works wonders with your main AoE attack, Gemini Slash.

Krav Maga - Party buff, increases defense. One point is the same as max.

Blade and Sword Mastery - Max asap! Passive and increases damage.


Debuff Tree:

Heart Shatter - Lowers target's metal & physical resistance, max this.

Mind Shatter - Lowers target's wood & water resistance, you don't usually deal wood or water damage, so it's not necessary.

Soul Shatter - Lowers target's fire & earth resistance, helps out, put into it when you have spare points.


Attack Tree:

Rock Splitting Cleave - Keep at level one, gets replaced fast.

Staggering Strike - Max this, deals good damage in combo with NS Waltz.

Battousai - A ranged attack! Not that much of damage, but helps you not get hurt, put in extra points after maxing main attacks.

Ion Spike - Ranged AoE attack, your first one! Not that good though, but max it eventually.

Stalagstrike - Max this, good attack and does more damage with Parchedblade Dance.

Heartseeker - Ranged attack dealing metal damage, max this asap... a very good attack.

Darkcloud Bolt - AoE attack, deals physical damage, max eventually.

Gemini Slash - Ranged AoE attack, max this! Amazingly good. Works well with Soulsever Minuet.

Edged Blur - Aoe physical and metal damage, very good PVP against sins. Other than that, not so much.

Yataghan Vortex - AoE attack, your best one although it's very expensive.


Other:

Unfetter - Makes you faster for 15 seconds, helps later on to speed up instances.

Blade Affinity - Decreases your channeling time, not that important as you channel faster than most anyways.

Adrenal Numbness - Increases defense level, max this after your attacks, amazing.

Voidstep - Ranged attack, warps to target and stuns. Handy, worth a few points.

Quid Pro Quo - Transfers debuffs to target and silences, only really good for bosses, TW, and PVP.

Notice that Seeker has different build than BM eventhough both wearing HA and both wear same weapons (sword/blade and the duals).

*What I did on Seeker (pure STR): 7 STR and 3 DEX every 2 levels
I believe the DEX here is mostly for the sword requirement (not mainly for accuracy). So, basically the total DEX = min. DEX required to wear the weapon.

*What I did on BM (VIT hybrid axe/claw):
3 STR, 1 DEX, 1 VIT every level until I reach 50 VIT base (level 45)
3 STR, 2 DEX for the rest of the levels until total DEX reaches 200 -> this is due to T3 claw requirement of 193 DEX (best claw at the moment). We round up to 200 DEX for extra 1% crit.

**3 STR is a must for axe. Axe requires high STR and very little DEX.
**2 DEX per level is a must for fist. Fist requires high DEX (level x 2). With the VIT build I'm doing, I won't be able to wear fist/claw at all until I probably level 85 (aiming for -0.05 int Gorenox Vanity). But, I don't see why I need fist at all aside from building chi until I get triple spark.

Pole and sword are in between axe and fist extreme STR and DEX. So, with that build, I can easily wear all weapons once I get the 200 DEX.
