Well, with Chaos coming in the Summer, a few people will probably want these, also, sorry for the huge post.

Basic Profession Guide:

Herbalist: One of the basic gathering professions, Herbalists can make use of the plants that have sprung up in several maps, collecting their seeds and flowers to create oils used for Alchemist potions. Miner: The other gathering profession, Miners can mine the rock formations that have appeared in several maps, allowing them to gather ores which they can refine to use in Blacksmith or Jeweler creations. Blacksmith: Characters who pick this profession will be able to forge weapons and armor of every class, as well as throwing stars, bullets, and arrows. Blacksmiths, like Greek god of the Forge, Hephaestus, are able to create robotic companions which follow you and talk. Characters must first choose the Miner profession to unlock Blacksmith as their second profession. Jeweler: Characters who choose this path will be able to create accessories, which include face accessories, earrings, rings, pendants, belts, and shoulderpads, which are currently highly coveted. Characters must first choose the Miner profession to unlock Jeweler as their second profession. Alchemist: This profession allows a character to brew powerful potions whose effects range from restoring health to powerful buffs and stunning transformations. This character can also disassemble equips to create crystals or combine two of the same equips to randomize its stats, including the possibility of having a hidden potential. Characters must first choose the Herbalist profession to unlock Alchemist as their second profession. Characters can switch jobs for a small fee, however, the switch completely erases the experience the player has accumulated, so if the player were to switch back, they would start again at Level 1. Items made by Blacksmiths and Jewelers have a chance of being Hidden Potential items.

As a general rule, all equips over the level of 100 require recipes, as well as a few special equips, such as the Angelic Rings

Recipes for level 100 equips and the level 105 Dragon Katara can be bought from an NPC in the profession map. The recipes for level 100 armor and accessory items are 300k, while level 100 weapon and shield recipes are 500k through the NPC. Some potion recipes can also be bought and range in price from 50k to 1.1m. The recipes for disassemblers are 2m and 5m.

Most of the stuff is bought from the NPC shop in the profession map, with a few exceptions, like the Gallant Emblem, Dream Fragment and Stone, Item Crystals, and Plants.

Item Crystals - Disassemble items of the appropriate level. These are NOT the same ones we have now. Only Alchemists are capable of disassembling items on their own. They can also create a Disassembler item that allows other people to disassemble their items. You have a chance of recieving a higher leveled crystal when disassembling. This is how you are able to get Superior Item Crystals
Plants and Ores - Can be picked or mined in areas for level 30+. There are a variety of different plants and rocks in these maps that, if you hold NPC Chat by them, will drop a plant or ore, provided that you are of the correct profession (Miner or Herbalist) and have the correct tools (shovel or pickaxe).
Gallant Emblem - PvP

These are guesses, but:
Dream Fragment - Future Henesys and Ereb monsters
Dream Stone - Empress Cygnus

I'm guessing the Dream items follow the trend set by ToT items.

Skill Experience:

These values are at the recommended skill level. Mining and Herbalism - Processing (Refining ores or extracting oils) - 20 EXP Mining and Herbalism - Collecting (Mining and collecting plants) - 20 EXP Alchemy - 60 EXP Jewel Crafting and Blacksmithing - 100 EXP You gain 5% more EXP when you create an item per level, when the item's recommended level is higher and you get 5% less EXP per level when the item's recommended skill level is lower. This is calculated level by level. At level five, creating a level eight item gets you roughly 100 * 1.05^3 EXP, 115, and creating a level 2 item gets you roughly 100 * .95^3 EXP, 86 EXP. The first one was rounded down in game, for some reason, the second one is rounded up. This does not apply to processing with Mining and Herbalism, you always gain 20 EXP for processing, regardless of level.

A note about Fatigue:

Creating an item through Mining or Herbalism increases fatigue by 1, creating an item through the Alchemist profession increases fatigue by 3, and creating items through Black Smith or Jeweler professions increases fatigue by 5. You can accumulate up to 100 fatigue before you have to stop doing profession related activities. You can buy potions for 300k and 1m that reduce your fatigue a limited number of times a day, and you lose 5 fatigue per hour.

What are recipes? (The Items):

Recipes take the form of pieces of paper, USE items, being either red with a potion (Alchemist), blue with a jewel (Jewel Crafting), or yellow with a hammer (Blacksmithing), these recipes vary in how much you can use them, however, outside of some event recipes, Alchemist recipes generally last a day, while Jewel Crafting and Blacksmithing recipes are predominantly one use. Recipe Durations There are some permanent recipes, which include Android Hearts, Extractor Machines, and Pill Recipes.

With Herbalism and Mining, you always have a 100% chance of extracting oils or refining ores, regardless of level, but you have a 90% chance of getting the oil or plate and a 10% chance of getting magic powder for certain recipes. Herbalism and mining levels only limit what you can collect, not create.

omg making alchemist mule i want the hero will pot you can make millions off of that :O

I'm making mules for all of them, except Blacksmith/Jeweler which I think is what I'm going to choose on my main/mains... still not 100% sure yet, but I can always make mules for ALL of them and just not choose a profession on my mains until I'm 100% sure. =]

I recomend u to do this: use mules do get ores and herbs to rise jew crafting/smithing/alchemy to lvl 10 in 3 different characters. Mules get sttuff and mains craft so u can save fatigue on your main. So u will be able to do whatever u want and also u will get the event special items.
