I'm going to revive this thread seeing as how one member actually has near 1000 posts.

I'm aware that these "prizes" are cheap - I don't know how much meso or how many Apples I have left (and I'd rather not install the client just so I can check) so I'd rather play it super safe.

Considering the victor is clear, I can get started on it some time this week. Build your character on BannedStory with the face and gesture you want and somehow, someway get that PNG to me. As long as you're producing the PNG files, I don't really care how many characters you want in it (since I just drag it into GIMP and move them into place). If there are too many characters, however, it might be better to make them part of the background.

Details; details; details - the more details of how you want it to look, the faster it can be produced. Including, but not limited to:

• heightXwidth in pixels (otherwise I default to 500x130)
  
• color scheme
  
• textures (cloth in Andy's)
  
• character placement
  
• text, font, & text placement
  
• border style and color

I generally create backgrounds with some screenshot(s) as a base. If there's a particular Maplestory background you want, I can use that; just get me a screenshot of it if you can.

No I don't do animated banners - it takes less time to create a nice, static banner than it does to create a crappy animation.
